Fees $ Rebates The 2024-2025 fee recommended by the Australian Psychological Society is $311.00 for a 46–60-minute consultation.
Our fee for 50 - 60 minutes is well below the recommended fee:
- Private Paying Clients = $220.
- NDIS self and plan managed clients = $222.99
- With a Mental Health Care Plan = $220 - $96.95 (rebate) = $123.05 (out of pocket).
- Assessment fees will be discussed on request.
- You will need to pay for your full appointment costs at the time of your appointment and then you will receive a Medicare rebate (if the correct referral is in place).
Cancellation Policy
When an appointment is booked, the psychologist reserves the whole hour especially for you.
- As a courtesy, a two-way auto-text reminder will be sent 48 hours prior to the appointment time to remind you of your upcoming appointment.
- The auto-text reminder asks for confirmation via return text to the Practice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Cancelling or rescheduling with 48 hours' notice allows the appointment time to be offered to another client and helps minimise waiting times.
- Cancellations with 48 hours' notice incur no fees.
- Cancellations with less than 48 hours incur half session fees.
- Cancellations within 24 hours and no shows especially when confirmed will incur full session fees as we cannot fill the allocated time.
- Cancellation fees cannot be claimed through Medicare or through a private health fund.
- Future bookings will require settlement of any outstanding fees.​
- In event of unforeseeable circumstances and emergencies, please let us know the likelihood of nonattendance as soon as you can and to discuss your situation.
